Our Ottley Table is based on a
Victorian saddle-cleaning table.
Handmade by fine Virginia furniture
makers using mortise and tenon
joints, it is available in either 100%
Antique or American Oak. The antique
oak is particularly fitting for this purpose as it has been reclaimed from
barns and rural structures in Virginia and West Virginia.
The handles on both the Antique American Oak table drawers are also
antiques. Similarly shaped plain brass handles are available on the two
drawers of the table made with Today’s American Oak.
The leaves of this table fold up to hold saddles as well as create space.
They also fold down to allow this piece to function as a table and are
supported by hand forged cast iron brackets. A shelf spans the length
of the bottom of the table for additional storage space.
The table is finished with a very low sheen water-resistant varnish.
Tables are made to order with delivery from 8 to 12 weeks.
